Privacy Policy

This page explains what MD Mojo Photo & Video Booths collects when you use this website, why, and who else sees it. It covers this website only — not the photos and videos we capture at an event, which are covered by your booking agreement.

What you give us directly

If you fill in the “Check Your Date” form, we collect the details you type: your first and last name, email address, phone number, event date and event city. Only the email address is required — the rest help us answer you usefully.

We use it to reply to your enquiry and to plan and quote your event. We do not sell it, and we do not pass it to anyone outside the suppliers described below.

What the site records automatically

When you arrive, the site records how you got here so we know which of our efforts are working. Alongside your form entry we store:

• Campaign tags in the link you clicked (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content)
• Advertising click identifiers from Google, Meta and Microsoft (gclid, fbclid, msclkid)
• The website that referred you, the first page you landed on, the page the form was submitted from, and when you first arrived

This is stored in a cookie called cc_attr on your device for 90 days. It holds your first visit’s details, so a later visit does not overwrite them. It contains no name, email or phone number. Clearing your browser cookies removes it.

The form also carries a hidden field that human visitors never see or fill in. It exists to catch automated spam, and a submission that fills it is silently discarded.

Who else receives it

• CheckCherry — our booking and enquiry system. Form submissions are sent there, and that is where your enquiry lives so we can respond to it. Our “Book Now” buttons also take you to CheckCherry’s own site, which has its own privacy policy.
• Analytics and advertising tools — where enabled, this site uses Google Analytics 4, the Meta pixel and Microsoft Clarity to understand how pages are used and which adverts led to enquiries. Each one loads only when it has been switched on in our configuration, and each sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
• ClickCease — this checks whether clicks on our adverts are genuine rather than automated click fraud, so we are not paying for fake visits. It only does anything if you arrived by clicking one of our adverts. If you found us through a normal search result, a link or by typing our address in, it stays dormant and collects nothing at all. When you did come from an advert, it looks at how the page is used — mouse movement, scrolling and which parts of the page change — for up to a minute, together with technical characteristics of your browser and device such as screen size, timezone, language and graphics capabilities. What you type into the enquiry form is hidden before anything is sent, so it does not receive your name, email or phone number. This is separate from the analytics tools above and runs under ClickCease’s own privacy policy.
• Embedded content — pages with video use Vimeo and YouTube, and our template gallery is supplied by photoboothtemplates.com. Playing or loading that content lets those providers set their own cookies. We use YouTube’s no-cookie player where we can.
• Google — our review section shows real Google reviews, and reviewer profile pictures load from Google’s servers. Our city pages embed a Google map of the area we serve, which Google may use to set cookies when the map loads.

What we do not do

This site has no user accounts and no logins. We take no payments on it — booking and payment happen in CheckCherry. We do not sell or rent your details to anybody, and we do not send marketing email to people who only enquired unless they asked us to.

Your choices

You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them, though the form will no longer know how you found us. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email Contact@MarylandMojoPhoto.com or call 443.203.2303 and we will action it.

Children

This website is aimed at people organising events, not at children, and we do not knowingly collect details from children through it. If you believe a child has submitted the form, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If we change what we collect or who receives it, we will update this page and the date at the top.
