One of the most well-known examples of endless possibilities when it comes to photos, the green screen photo booth lets you transform your backdrop into anything you wish. Guests pose in front of a green backdrop and the booth swaps it out instantly — so the print they take away and the digital copy they share both show them somewhere else entirely. We built our largest green screen activation to date for the Mubadala Citi DC Open, where the swapped backdrop was a live sports broadcast set.
From the streets of Seoul to the surface of Mars, from wacky designs to subtle illustrations, anything you wish for can become a reality. And because the background is digital rather than physical, you can offer your guests several of them in a single night without hanging a single drape — the booth carries as many scenes as you want to load into it, and swapping between them costs nothing but a tap on the screen.
That is the practical difference from every other booth we run. It is not one look repeated four hundred times but a menu guests work through, which is why the queue holds up better through a long evening.

Bring Your Own Backdrop
If you have artwork, we can build it in. Corporate clients drop guests straight into a product set or a branded scene with the logo already in frame. Couples put their guests in the city where they met. Nonprofits place supporters inside the story they are telling, with sponsor branding on every photo that leaves the room.
Send us the background ahead of your event and we load it into the booth alongside the ready-made options we already carry, so your guests can choose between them on the night.

Green Screen or a Real Backdrop?
A green screen photo booth and a physical backdrop solve different problems, and the right answer depends on how much you care about variety versus texture. A printed or sequin backdrop gives you one look, but it is really there — it catches the room's light, it photographs with actual depth, and it becomes part of how the space looks whether or not anyone is standing in front of it. A green screen gives you as many looks as you want to load, but every one of them is a composite, and a composite always reads as a composite if you look closely enough.
In practice the choice comes down to the room. If the booth is the centerpiece of a small space and people will be looking at it all night, a physical backdrop usually wins, because it is doing decorative work as well as photographic work. If the booth is one activation among several at a large event, or if you want guests to have a reason to come back a second and third time, green screen wins, because it is the only backdrop that changes.
What We Need From Your Venue
Less than most people expect. Here is what to check, and what to tell us.
Space
About 10ft x 10ft is ideal, and we rarely get exactly that. Tell us what the room is really like and we will adapt to it.
Power
One dedicated circuit. The booth draws under 5 amps, but the dedicated part matters more than the number — a popcorn or cotton candy machine sharing that breaker will trip it mid-event.
Internet
Not required. The booth brings its own connectivity, and venue WiFi is a useful fallback if you have it. Let us know the venue in advance and we can arrange additional backup.
Guest flow
Around 30 sessions an hour, and we can speed it up or slow it down to suit the night.
Lead time
At least 90 days for the larger experiences, so we can staff them properly. Sooner if your date is in a busy season.
